Laura started the JoJo business in 1993 from her flat in London and her parents’ shed in Wales. From mailing its first catalog to planting its first trees in the JoJo Forever Forest, follow JoJo through the years.

Beyond the British roots and nautical influence from France, bringing new concepts to reality requires a global team. Jojo Maman Bebe products begin as brilliant ideas in JoJo House in London and are manufactured in facilities all over the world. North China produces denim, North India produces children’s party dresses and smocked tops, and Turkey produces tights and socks.
Jojo Maman Bebe wants to build long-term partnerships with the suppliers; some of them have been with us for 20 years, and some have developed with us from small start-ups to employing hundreds of tailors. JoJo’s Helping Hands is a new charity effort from JoJo Siwa that aims to bring attention to the causes that matter to you the most while also offering much-needed monetary donations of up to £10,000. They are committed to having a positive impact in the communities they serve, and they want you as a Jojo Maman Bebe customer and to join them.
From A Mother To Another
FAMTA is their in-house recycling effort, which began in 2015. Jojo Maman Bebe has potentially spared over 70 tonnes of unwanted or outgrown clothing from going to landfill thanks to consumer donations, which Jojo have donated to people in need with the support of local baby banks.
Jojo Maman Bebe re-launched its gorgeously embroidered rainbow sleepsuit to assist support the NHS when the Coronavirus pandemic reached its climax. The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this sleepsuit. Jojo Maman Bebe has raised nearly £25,000 so far!
Jojo Maman Bebe encourages its factories in other countries to participate in local charity events. Jojo sponsored a charity called Many Hands and their social entrepreneurship project ‘Pink Speak’ through one of Jojo Maman Bebe’s Indian suppliers.
Every year, Jojo employees are given a paid day off to volunteer for a cause that they care about. Jojo is always on the lookout for a local charity that can lend a helping hand, from soup kitchens to baby banks.
In 2019, Jojo teamed up with the Newport Child Protection Team to participate in their Santa Appeal, donating Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in the Newport area. Jojo gathered dozens of Christmas presents, which the Child Protection Team picked up and handed to children aged 0 to 16 in the Newport region.
Jojo has collaborated with HMP Prescoed’s Community Placement Team to assist reduce the possibility of inmates reoffending by providing day-release offenders with work in their warehouse, allowing them to gain experience in a constructive working environment. When possible, Jojo Maman Bebe also provides work experience in its London Design, Buying, and Marketing Office.

It may seem strange that they invest so much in its physical establishments in an era when internet purchases are so prevalent. However, they recognize that when you become pregnant, you are entering a completely new period of life and have a lot to learn – so getting guidance from those who are well-versed in this area is beneficial. Visiting a JoJo store is more than simply a shopping trip; Jojo provides a welcoming environment for parents and children to nurse, change diapers, replenish water bottles, and converse. When possible, they also enjoy participating in local charitable events.

Jojo Maman Bebe has teamed up with Refill to become the first and only mother & baby retailer* to install water refill stations in all of the new and rebuilt locations, allowing customers to fill their water bottles and reducing the need to buy bottled water when out and about.

Jojo Maman Bebe recognizes the dangers that balloons pose to the environment, thus they no longer utilize them at its shop events. Jojo Maman Bebe employs sustainable choices such as paper crowns and recycled card playsets where we do offer freebies.
Jojo Maman Bebe has redesigned their gift cards, changing them to a much more eco-friendly, 100% recyclable cardboard in early 2020.
Jojo Maman Bebe has always loved a classic design, which is why you’ll find an extensive collection of wooden and more sustainable toy choices to replace plastic alternatives.
Although they first added reusable nappies to Jojo Maman Bebe’s collection back in 2002. The world appeared to be unprepared. In 2019, most of us began looking for ways to limit the amount of waste Jojo makes, which is why they have reintroduced reusable diapers to the product line.
Where to next..?
Despite its devastating effects, the world begins to adjust to the pandemic’s long-term consequences. As limitations are gradually relaxed, a glimmer of normalcy appears on the horizon, and JoJo may return its attention to its environmental programs. Thousands of trees will be planted in the JoJo Forever Forest this year as part of a vow to more than balance JoJo’s carbon footprint at an organizational level, and additional environmental projects will be actively pursued, which you can learn more about at The Heart of JoJo.
